Red Litmus Base Test Paper – 6.8 to 8.1pH Range – 100 Strips

Red Litmus test paper is ideal for testing alkali substances. Litmus papers will indicate whether a solution is alkaline or acidic. Litmus is a water-soluble mixture of different dyes extracted from lichen. Dyeing filter paper, either red or blue, with this ink creates one of the oldest forms of testing alkalinity and acidity. Red litmus paper turns blue under alkaline conditions. Includes colour guides in the vial.
